Fencing Shoes

The Adidas Carbon Stabil is the newest shoe in the Stabil line. It bumps everything up a level in terms of quality and features.

They're not a fencing shoe, but a court shoe, designed for volleyball, racquetball, and squash, but the Stabil line has been a staple in the Epee community for a while. Its wide base, but thin sole allows for great stability and quick movement changes. Its sole is designed for lower-friction courts, which translates well towards fencing, both on a strip and in recreational areas commonly used for fencing (basketball courts, for example).

Reviews have been reporting that they are a level of quality higher than the Stabil S, its immediate predecessor. This shoe is specifically advertised as a men's shoe, but sizes do run small enough for women.
