Fencing Shoes

The Adidas Stabil 7 is one of the oldest models of the Stabil still widely available. Because it is older, it is typically cheaper, while not lacking in performance or quality. It might be lacking some of the higher end features that its newer companion shoes might have, but these are rarely noticed or missed. The Stabil 7s are a very solid choice for epee footwear. They also come in a wide variety of styles.

The Stabil 7s are not a fencing shoe, but a court shoe designed for volleyball, racquetball, and squash, but the Stabil line has been a staple in the Epee community for a while. Its wide base, but thin sole allows for great stability and quick movement changes. Its sole is designed for lower-friction courts, which translates well towards fencing, both on a strip and in recreational areas commonly used for fencing (basketball courts, for example).
